With this in mind, they’ve turned their hands to winemaking. At the core of their wines are flavour, texture and enjoyment. Each Fleet Wine speaks of both place and variety. Each wine captures a fleeting moment in time, made by two intrinsic wine and food pros chasing flavour and vibrancy.
2024 FLEET SKIN CONTACT PINOT GRIS - WHITLANDS, VIC
A vibrant and textural expression of Pinot Gris, showing a delicate amber hue from extended skin contact. Aromas of orange peel, pear, and rosehip lead into a palate of dried apricot, spice, and gentle tannins. Fresh acidity balances the grip, delivering a dry, savoury finish. FLEET SOUTH GIPPSLAND PINOT NOIR - SOUTH GIPPSLAND, VIC
Bright and aromatic, this Pinot Noir offers lifted notes of red cherry, wild strawberry, and subtle spice. The palate is silky and vibrant, with fine tannins and hints of forest floor, clove, and cranberry. Fresh acidity and a long, elegant finish reflect the cool-climate charm of South Gippsland. 2023 FLEET ‘SKINS’ PINOT GRIS - MORNINGTON PENINSULA, VIC
Bold and aromatic, this skin-contact Pinot Gris shows a beautiful copper-rose hue. The nose bursts with orange rind, spiced pear, and dried herbs. On the palate, it’s textured and dry, with notes of blood orange, tea leaf, and subtle tannin grip. Balanced by fresh acidity, it finishes savoury and persistent.
